SURVIVAL GUIDE

This year’s Fiesta is tipped to be the biggest yet, so we're presenting you with our tips to ensure you have a safe and great time...

Transport - Travel to and from the Valley Fiesta on TransLink bus,
train or ferry services.  To plan your journey and for the latest timetable
information visit www.translink.com.au or call 13 12 30, now 24 hours a
day, seven days a week
Fiesta’s Mall concerts are outdoors, so check out the weather forecast before heading out. During the day, don’t forget to Slip Slop Slap – that September sun can be scorching
Comfy footwear is recommended – Fiesta’s not made for those new 4-inch heels
Fiesta’s public performances on the Malls are strictly alcohol free. You can drink in the Valley venues but cannot take your drinks out from them
You will need ID to get into licensed venues. ID must be shown upon request. International visitors are advised to bring their passport as this is universally accepted
Brisbane has a 3am lock-out, so keep an eye on the time. At 3am, there is NO movement between venues. Where you are at, is where you’ll stay
Also remember drink spiking can happen anywhere. So don’t consume drinks left unattended
If you run into any difficulty, a Police Beat office can befound at the Wickham St end of the Brunswick St Mall
Look after your mates. No one likes missing the headliners because they’ve passed out at 8pm! Go easy to ensure you last the distance
